Running
Running is just about the simplest form of exercise there is, and it's perfect for your seemingly endless energy and need for speed. You can run outdoors or indoors. Anywhere between 20 to 30 minutes a day is sufficient to reach your goal!!
Jumping
Get those feet up and off the ground with these easy exercises. Jumps build muscle strength, cardiovascular fitness, and endurance. And who doesn't love competing against a friend, sibling, or even an adult to see who can jump the highest?
Food tips...
Fruit and vegetables are good sources of many of the vitamins and minerals your body needs during your teenage years. Aim to eat at least 5 portions of a variety of fruit and veg a day. Find out what counts as 5 A Day.
Cut down on food and drinks high in fat, sugar and salt, such as sweets, chocolate bars, cakes, biscuits, sugary fizzy drinks and crisps, which are high in calories (energy).
Aim to drink 6 to 8 glasses of fluids a day – water and lower-fat milk are both healthy choices.
Calcium helps to build healthy bones and teeth. Good sources of calcium include milk and other dairy products, and leafy green vegetables.
How to be productive?
Benjamin Franklin once said, “early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.” Making a schedule can help stay aware of what you shall be doing and when. Get up early in the morning. Taking a walk is no harm. Plan your day. giving an adequate amount of time to all your activities of the day will enhance your productivity. You have 24 hours! Make the best of it. Being a teenager isn’t easy. Everything seems annoying. The thought of running away recurs frantically. One of the best things to do at this point is to spend time with friends and family. Give that Sunday dinner a try. Not relatives then cousins will give you the good time you deserve.
